Annual Father's Day Classic Car Show: Head to Oak Brook with your dad to see more than 90 antique, classic, vintage and specialty automobiles on display. The show will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 21 at Oakbrook Center.

Canoeing at the Botanic Garden: The Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe organized a special canoeing adventure on the lakes at the garden for fathers and their children. Witness herons, fish, frogs and turtles as you paddle through the lakes. The event takes place June 20.

Brookefield Zoo Barbecue: Take your dad to the Brookfield Zoo for a special Father's Day all-you-can-eat barbecue event. A premium cash bar will also be available until 2 p.m. Admission is $49.95 for adults and $35.95 for children older than 2.
