On June 2, restaurants and bakeries around the city will celebrate National Doughnut Day, and we have the best deals and the best places to check out throughout the city.

Customers who purchase doughnuts at Glazed & Infused (multiple locations) on Friday will receive a coupon for a free French Vanilla Bean Glazed doughnut on their next visit. Also available is a special-edition Salvation Army doughnut, with 50 percent of the proceeds going to the Salvation Army Chicago Metropolitan Division.
Stan's Donuts
In honor of National Doughnut Day, Stan’s (multiple locations) will offer customers on Friday a free doughnut with any purchase. It shouldn't be too hard to find something. Stan's has over 40 varieties of doughnuts.
Firecakes (68 W. Hubbard St.) launches a new doughnut ice cream sandwich for the donut holiday, and it's a doozy: triple-chocolate ice cream sandwich featuring the shop's triple chocolate cake donut, vanilla ice cream and valrhona chocolate sauce. Starting Friday it will be available daily -- alongside the rest of Firecakes' extensive donut offerings.
Buy a dozen doughnuts at Weber's Bakery's $10.40 sale price and get one of the bakery's famous chocolate donuts for free. In addition, Weber's (7055 W. Archer Ave.) brings in an additional full list of doughnuts special for Doughnut Day: maple bacon, chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, coconut crunch cake and more.
Enjoy a variety of doughnut flavors from Dinkel's Bakery (3329 N. Lincoln Ave.) from bizmark and filled donuts to cake and glazed. If you really want to get into the Doughnut Day spirit, try the Chicago mainstay's most popular offering: traditional cake dipped in chocolate.
Beavers Donuts aims to fulfill your doughnut craving with four free mini sugar-dusted donuts for customers at its Chicago French Market location (131 N. Clinton St.) or any of its food trucks. Bonus: The same deal applies to orders through UberEATS. Beavers boasts two dozen varieties of made-to-order minis, from s'mores to Nutella banana.
Now for something with a twist. BomboBar (832 W. Randolph St.), a walk-up window attached to Bar Siena, offers Bombolini, hole-less Italian doughnuts. If that doesn't make you hungry, how about this: Salted caramel, mixed berry and maple cream are a few of the flavors.
While Do-Rite won’t be offering any specific deals on National Doughnut Day, they have some of the best doughnuts in the city according to multiple foodie rankings. A fan favorite? The Chocolate Old-Fashioned.

Krispy Kreme is giving customers a free doughnut of their choice at the Krispy Kreme Homewood shop (17815 Halsted St.). The fun happens from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. in-store and midnight until midnight at the drive-thru.
Dinky Donuts
