Woman Fatally Shot After Altercation In Hammond Parking Lot

Witnesses told police that the victim was shot after an argument with a man in a parking lot

Hammond Police said a woman was found shot to death in a parking lot in Hammond, Indiana Sunday morning. 

Authorities responded to the Coach's Corner bar located in the 6200 block of Kennedy Ave. at about 1:26 a.m. Sunday. 

When police arrived, they found the victim, identified as 26-year-old Katelyn Golden of Hammond dead at the scene.  

Witnesses told police that the victim was shot after an argument with a man in a parking lot.

No other details were immediately known.
