A 65-year-old woman was killed Sunday after she fell seven stories inside a shopping center on the Gold Coast, police said.
About 6:05 p.m., the woman fell from the seventh floor to the first floor inside the Water Tower Place, 835 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity and cause of death of the woman are pending the Cook County medical examiner’s office investigation, police said.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
