Woman Accused of Stealing Wallets From Gym Lockers

Bond was set at $100,000 Friday for a South Side woman who allegedly stole wallets from a Loop gym’s locker room and was caught on camera using the credit cards at several stores.

Tishunda Jordan, 33, was charged with burglary, identity theft and two counts of forgery, according to Chicago Police.

On Jan. 4, Jordan allegedly entered a gym on East Randolph Street under the pretense of working out, a statement from police said.

She entered the locker room and cut the locks off two lockers with bolt cutters, then stole wallets and credit cards, police said. She was later caught on camera using the credit cards at several stores.

Jordan was ordered held in lieu of $100,000 bond Friday, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s office. Her next court date is scheduled for March 13.
