Wisconsin Radio Station Bans Music by Seattle Musicians Ahead of Packers-Seahawks Game

“No Nirvana, no Pearl Jam, no Heart, until the Packers beat the Seahawks on Sunday,” their message read

A Wisconsin radio station is banning music from Seattle musicians as the Green Bay Packers prepare to take on the Seattle Seahawks Sunday.

The radio station, 94.5 the Lake, posted to their website that they plan to “Say No to Seattle.”

“No Nirvana, no Pearl Jam, no Heart, until the Packers beat the Seahawks on Sunday,” their message read.

The station said the move is to “help change the karma.”

The ban, which began Wednesday, includes any band that calls Seattle home.

On the other side of the battle, Bainbridge Island, Washington has banned “the possession and consumption of cheese on Friday,” according to NBC-affiliate KING 5 News.
