Third Glue Gal Pleads No Contest

Wendy Sewell faces up to 90 days in jail, $10,000 fine

A third Wisconsin woman accused of seeking revenge against a cheating lover by gluing his penis to his abdomen has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

Forty-four-year-old Wendy Sewell of Kaukauna had faced a felony charge of being party to the crime of false imprisonment. She pleaded no contest Friday to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct.

The misdemeanor carries a maximum penalty of 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Most likely she'll avoid jail time. The other two women charged in the plot pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges last month, and the prosecutor agreed not to seek jail time for either.

District Attorney Kenneth Kratz wouldn't say Friday whether he offered Sewell the same stipulation.

Forty-eight-year-old Therese Ziemann of Menasha was accused of doing the actual gluing. Her sister, 43-year-old Michelle Belliveau of Neenah, also pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct.

The women allegedly lured the 37-year-old Fond du Lac man to a motel and tied him to a bed in July.

After the attack, Sewell and Belliveau said they were the true victims, scorned by a man who broke their hearts.

All three women will be sentenced Feb. 2.
