Snow to Impact Afternoon Commute Monday

After the Chicago-area saw snow on Sunday, another round of the white stuff has led to another Winter Weather Advisory.

That advisory will go into effect on noon Monday, and will impact large swaths of northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

That advisory will last until midnight Monday night, and will impact Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, La Salle, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties in Illinois. Jasper, La Porte, Lake, and Newton counties in Indiana are also under the advisory, as is Kenosha County in Wisconsin.

Forecasters are predicting that snowfall will impact the Monday evening commute in the Chicago area, and are encouraging motorists to reduce speed and to use caution when driving.
