Spring officially started this week, but if you believed Punxsutawney Phil, it's hard to tell in Chicago.
The area saw temperatures in the teens at the turn of the season with below-zero wind chills, and this weekend could look a lot like, well, Christmas or at least early winter.
Models show a 50 percent chance of snow after 9 a.m. Sunday, according to the National Weather Service with snow continuing through the day and night. Showers are expected to taper Monday and a chance of flurries lingers through Tuesday.
Meanwhile temperatures remain in the unseasonable mid-30s, and Friday's high is expected to reach 36. The next chance for 40 degrees is mid-next week.
The average temperature this time of year is 50 degrees, and Chicago beat that last year with highs in the low 80s.
