The 14th hole at the Highland Park golf course is a cruel one. One summer afternoon in 2000 four men played it: the reporter; Keith Moore, a lawyer married to actress Natalie West; Will Zahrn, a Chicago stage actor; and William Petersen, a legendary Chicago stage actor and movie star of modest magnitude.
