Who Stood Out In Bears Win Over Rams?

What a weird game for the Bears. Though it ended in a win, it was hardly a three-phase victory. Who stood out?

Grizzly Bears -- the player who ripped apart the Rams just as nature intended.

Tim Jennings: For the third game in a row, Jennings was a star on defense. He had three broken-up passes, including one that was deflected into the arms of Major Wright who returned it for a touchdown. Plus, Jennings had an interception which gives him four on the season. Remember how Jennings would let picks sail through his hands last season? That's him no longer.

Israel Idonije: Julius Peppers told NBC Chicago's Peggy Kusinski that he's eager to teach the Bears pass rushers. Clearly, his lessons are working because teammate Israel Idonije had 2.5 sacks of Sam Bradford on Sunday.

Robbie Gould: A game dominated by defense with a lackluster offense can only end in a win if the Bears have a kicker with a booming leg. Luckily, the Bears have Gould, who hit three field goals, including one from 54 yards out.

You may notice there aren't any offensive stars. There's a reason for that. The only player who started to stick out on offense was Michael Bush, but the Bears barely used him in the second half.

With that said, the Teddy Bears, or the Bears who resembled braying little lambs.

Jay Cutler
: The quarterback wasn't terrible, but he wasn't the man who will lead the Bears to the Super Bowl either: 17 for 31 for 183 yards, no touchdowns and an interception is just not enough. Though the offense bailed out the Bears this time around, that cannot be expected for every game.

The receiving corps: You know what's not going to help the Bears? Receivers who drop the ball or can't go up to catch passes in the end zone. A highly touted receiving corps on paper has to make the catches or Bears wins will only be on paper, not on the field.
