After pitcher Danny Farquhar suffered a brain hemorrhage during Friday night’s game, the Chicago White Sox have placed him on the 10-day disabled list.

Farquhar is currently in critical, but stable condition at RUSH Hospital, the team said, and is still undergoing treatment after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm in the dugout.

Right-handed pitcher Gregory Infante has been recalled from Class AAA Charlotte to replace Farquhar on the active roster.

The White Sox also reinstated Kevan Smith from the disabled list and assigned him to Charlotte.
