Where to Pick Up Your Packet for the 2019 Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle

Packet pick-up for the 8K and two-mile walk will take place Friday and Saturday

Runners will soon be arriving in Chicago to prep for the 2019 Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K this weekend. 

Packet pick-up for the 8K and two-mile walk will take place Friday and Saturday. 

Here's a look at what you can expect.

Where to pick up your packet:

McCormick Place, West Building, Skyline Ballroom

2301 South Indiana Avenue, Chicago, Illinois

Friday, March 22

10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Saturday, March 23

9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Participants will receive their packet pick-up tickets via email. 

If you cannot pick-up your packet in person, a friend, family member or co-worker can pick up your packet for you as long as they have a copy of your packet pick-up ticket.

What you'll get when you pick up your packet:

The participant packet and bag include a timing device, event bib number, festive winter hat and Nike participant running shirt. 

Some runners may receive packets in the mail:

Those who opted to have their packets mailed when they registered for the race should have received their envelop during the first week of March. The envelope should include a bib number, Nike participant shirt, winter hat, a clear plastic bag and beer tickets (if purchased). 

How to get there? 

Participants are encouraged to use public transportation if possible or allow extra time for parking. 

There is a free shuttle bus service from Chicago's Union Station. The shuttle, which operates every 15 to 20 minutes, will pick up on Canal Street between Adams Street and Jackson Boulevard near the Fitness Formula Club. Shuttles run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

From Downtown Chicago 

From Michigan Avenue, take a southbound #3 King Drive bus on Michigan to King Drive/23rd (located across the street from McCormick Place). Buses run every 7 to 20 minutes.

Or take the Green Line (toward either Cottage Grove or Ashland/63rd) from a Loop Elevated station to the accessible Cermak-McCormick Place station and walk three blocks east to McCormick Place.

From Ogilvie Transportation Center 

Take the Green Line (toward either Cottage Grove or Ashland/63rd) from the accessible Clinton station (located two blocks north of Ogilvie); exit at Cermak-McCormick Place station and walk three blocks east to McCormick Place. 

From Union Station

Take either a #1 Bronzeville/Union Station*, #7 Harrison* #28 Stony Island, or #126 Jackson bus to Michigan Avenue. Then, transfer to a southbound #3 King Drive bus to King Drive/23rd (located across the street from McCormick Place). Buses run every 7 to 20 minutes.

You can also take the Metra Electric Line from Grant Park. 

Ride-share drivers can drop runners off near the West Building entrance. Parking is also available for a rate of $10.
