After weekend snow broke a record in Chicago, it appears another chance for wintry weather is on the horizon, along with a dramatic drop in temperatures.
While highs have remained in the 30s Monday, where they will likely stay for Tuesday, Wednesday will bring a shift in temperatures.
Highs are set to dip into the upper-20s Wednesday with mostly cloudy skies and breezy conditions. There is a chance for snow showers during the overnight hours and into Thursday morning.
Highs will stay in the mid-20s Thursday but will likely fall into the teens overnight.
Some lake effect snow showers are possible in northwest Indiana and southwest Michigan Friday.
Light snow will again develop on Saturday during the afternoon hours and could grow to become moderate by the late evening and overnight hours.
The snow will taper to flurries by Sunday afternoon as temperature highs in the low- to mid-30s.
