What You Can and Can't Order at the World's Largest Starbucks

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery has a menu of its own and that means some of your favorite Starbucks staples probably aren’t on it

If you thought you could walk into the world’s largest Starbucks and order your favorite Frappuccino or Caramel Brulee latte, you might want to think again.

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery has a menu of its own and that means some of your favorite Starbucks staples probably aren’t on it.

The menus at the massive Michigan Avenue roastery feature espresso classics like lattes and cappuccinos and other beverages “crafted with Starbucks Reserve coffee that is roasted onsite,” according to the company.

"The Chicago Roastery offers a unique experience, and the menus are unique as the experience," a spokesperson for the company said in a statement. "The menus at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Chicago are different than that of a neighborhood Starbucks store because the specialty coffee beverages served at the Chicago Roastery are crafted with Starbucks Reserve coffee that is roasted onsite at the Chicago Roastery."

There are some specialty items like a “Hazelnut Bianco” or a “Pistachio Latte,” but some of the popular items fans of the coffee chain have come to love, including the holiday beverages, are not available at the roastery.

There are also a few holiday specialties at the roastery, however, including a Mulled Spiced Coffee and a Princi Holiday Panettone.

The 35,000-square-foot Starbucks Reserve Roastery opened in Chicago last week, drawing massive crowds and long lines to the Mag Mile.
