Baseball Returns to Wrigley for Second Shot at Cubs Home Opener

The Chicago Cubs will host their home opener - take two - at Wrigley Field on Tuesday.

The game was originally scheduled for Monday at 1:20 p.m., but was delayed an hour and then eventually postponed thanks to a blast of wintry weather.

Snowfall across the Chicago area meant the North Siders couldn't take the field for the game against the Pittsburgh Pirates - but it didn't stop them from having a bit of fun, starting a snowball fight and posing for photos in the cold.

The game was rescheduled for Tuesday at 1:20 p.m., with gates opening at 11:20 a.m. and the opening ceremony scheduled for around 12:45 p.m., the team said.

Tickets to Monday's game will be honored at Wrigley Field Tuesday, according to the Cubs.
