Wet, Cooler Weather on Tap Overnight and Into Sunday

Rainy weather, including some thunderstorms, and cooler temperatures are on tap for the Chicagoland area during the remainder of the weekend.

Conditions will remain dry on Saturday night, but that could change in the overnight hours. Storms could potentially develop into Sunday morning, and rainy weather is expected to last through the early morning hours.

More rain is possible on Sunday evening and into Sunday night.

As for the temperature, things will get a bit cooler over the next few days, as the high temperature of 62 degrees Sunday will be hit when the clock strikes midnight.

The temperature is expected to drop throughout the day, dipping into the mid-to-high 50’s during the afternoon hours.

Temperatures should rebound slightly on Monday, but the real warm-up will come later in the week as the highs build into the low to mid 80’s by Wednesday.
