Week Eight Nutrition Challenge: Shut the ‘Feeding Window’

Making wholesale nutritional changes all at once is rarely successful, but fortunately you don't need to do that to make a lasting change.

Each week, I offer a different nutritional challenge that you can try to incorporate into your lifestyle for seven days. If you like it, keep it up. If not, try the next one.

If you're feeling particularly ambitious, start adding the habits together and see how they help you improve your fat loss goals. But remember, the key to fat loss success is consistency, so don't overwhelm yourself.

For those who complete several of the challenges and see a change, send us your before and after photos!

Week Eight Challenge: Shut the Window!

A “feeding window” is a given time frame in which we consume our all of our daily calories. Though calories are not the whole story when it comes to fat loss, they do have their own chapter in the book. Using a feeding window is a way for us to manage caloric intake and enhance fat loss.

For the next seven days, I challenge you to implement a 12-hour feeding window.

That means, if you begin eating at 7 a.m., your last meal of the day must be no later than 7 p.m. If you are a person that tends to do better eating closer to bed, then you may want to wait till 9 or 10 a.m. before eating your first meal of the day and allow your last meal of the day to be 9 or 10 p.m. Figure out what works best for you, and enjoy the results!

Good luck!
