Weekend: Open that Bottle

BYOB: Thirteen Chicago restaurants are participating in "Open That Bottle Night," a chance to break out that bottle that you've been saving for a special occasion. The event is held annually on the last Saturday night in February, and restaurants such as LOKaL, Chizakaya and D.O.C. Wine Bar are offering no corkage fee and 20-percent bottle discount. Click here to view participating restaurants.

WINGING IT: The 12th annual WingFest goes down Sunday at the Bailey Auditorium. More than 25 local restaurants will be vying for top honors in a variety of categories, such as Hot, BBQ and Exotic wings. And as always, don't forget to check out the men's and women's wing-eating competition, which we don't suggest you watch if you have a weakness for animal carnage. 1 p.m., 1340 W. Washington Blvd, Tickets $24

SNOW BALL: Jbar at The James Hotel attempts to warm you up with a hot DJ and cool concoctions at the Snow Ball party. Special SVEDKA themed cocktails will be available, along with the star of the show, two David Burke Primehouse Sliders accompanied by a SVEDKA Vodka snow cone. 9 p.m., 610 North Rush St

WALK THE LINE:
Wicker Park's Big Star celebrates Johnny Cash's birthday all weekend with themed drink specials and a cover band on Sunday.

GAGA FASHION: The West Loop's Bon V nightclub (1100 W Randolph) channels Lady Gaga Saturday night with a "Born This Way on the Runway" fashion show. The models will be sporting clothes, hair and makeup inspired by the pop princess. Use the password "JM Couture" for free admission before midnight -- which also means you can expect this show to pop off crazy late.
