Warm Temperatures on the Way

Temperatures are expected to be in the 40s all this week

A brief bout of snow came and went Sunday morning, and the cold temperatures won't stick around for long.

By Monday, temperatures are expected to warm up to 45 degrees and will remain in the 40s the rest of the week -- with a 50 percent chance of rain on Tuesday.

That's quite a contrast compared to this time last year, when Chicago was bracing itself for the third largest blizzard in the Windy City's history..

Maybe Mother Nature decided to give a use a break this year.
