Voters in Suburbs Face Significant Choices

State legislators will wield power over tax dollars

Voters in the Chicago suburbs will find more than McCain/Obama on their ballots Tuesday.  In many areas, they're faced with a long list of races that could have a significant impact.

The Daily Herald reported Monday that "the balance of power in the Illinois Legislature and Congress are hanging on how suburban voters cast their votes in polls from Des Plaines to Elgin and from Antioch to Naperville."

It's important, then, that those voters have a handle on who's running for what office and with what platform.  An article posted to DailyHerald.com helps shed some light on a couple of those races, as does the nbcchicago.com election page.
