The Chicago Blackhawks have been making dreams become reality for fans throughout the 2015-16 season, but this week head coach Joel Quenneville took things to another level.
In the latest installment of the “What’s Your Goal” series, Quenneville and the Blackhawks visited a senior citizen’s center in Park Ridge to give them a taste of what a hockey game at the United Center was like.
Oh, and they had the seniors play a game for good measure.
Quenneville served as referee at the event, with assistant coaches Kevin Dineen and Mike Kitchen each handling the coaching duties for the game. Pat Foley provided the commentary, Frank Pelico provided the tunes, and Jim Cornelison provided the national anthem, as only he can.
