Two people are dead after a car crashed into several other parked vehicles on the city’s South Side Sunday morning.
According to authorities, a north-bound Mitsubishi sedan, driven by a 33-year-old woman, crashed into several parked cars in the 7500 block of South Morgan just after 3 a.m. Sunday.
The woman was later pronounced dead at St. Bernard’s, police said.
A passenger in the car, a 33-year-old man, was rushed to University of Chicago Hospital in critical condition, and was later pronounced dead.
The Major Accidents division is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
