2 Double Homicides Reported in South Suburban Ford Heights

Four were shot to death in two separate incidents in Ford Heights

Cook County Sheriff's deputies are investigating two double homicides in south suburban Ford Heights.

Police were alerted of the first homicide at about 5:25 p.m. Friday when someone flagged down police officers after finding a man and woman dead with multiple gunshot wounds, according to Cook County Sheriff's office spokeswoman Sophia Ansari.

The man and woman were found inside a home on the 1400 block of Regent Lane.

Mchezo A. McMillan, 38, who lived in the same block, and 21-year-old Ashley Hudson, of the 1200 block of West Birch in Homewood, were both pronounced dead at the scene, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy Saturday found that they both died from multiple gunshot wounds, and their deaths were ruled homicides.

The second homicide was reported early Sunday morning after police responded to a call of shots fired at about 1:25 a.m.

Police found two people with gunshot wounds inside a 2001 white Ford van in the 1500 block of Park Lane in Ford Heights, according to Ansari.
