Two men died in a suspicious fire in the Southwest Side Garfield Ridge neighborhood Saturday morning.
The fire broke out in a home in the 5200 block of South Lorel Avenue just before 10 a.m., according to Chicago fire officials.
The victims were identified as a 63-year-old man and a 26-year-old man. The older man lived in the home, and the younger man had been staying in the house for about a week, a cousin told NBC Chicago.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, but fire officials say it is "definitely suspicious." Chicago Police and arson investigators are looking into the incident.
