President Donald Trump is coming to Chicago for a fundraiser this month, his first visit to the city since becoming president.

The event is set for Oct. 28, according to a spokesman for the Illinois Republican Party.

An invite for the fundraiser, obtained by NBC 5 from a source, says the event will be hosted in party by National Finance Chairman Todd Ricketts, part-owner of the Chicago Cubs.

It wouldn't be the first Trump event hosted by the Ricketts this year.

In June, the family used Wrigley Field for a donor retreat for Trump's re-election campaign.

Also listed among the hosts were RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, Co-Chairman Tommy Hicks Jr. and Campaign Manager Brad Parscale.

Tickets range from $2,800 per person for a ticket to the lunch to $35,000 per couple for a photo opportunity to $100,000 per person for access to a roundtable discussion with Trump.

Details on where the event was slated to be held weren't immediately known.

During his presidency, Trump has remained critical of Chicago and has repeatedly called out the city's violence.

As a candidate, Trump canceled a planned rally in Chicago over safety concerns, prompting clashes between the thousands of protesters and supporters who had gathered inside the University of Illinois-Chicago Pavilion for the event.
