Treasurer's Office Announces Winners of Small Biz Online Marketing Contest

Back in January I wrote about the city treasurer's office launching the second iteration of its small business online marketing contest. Well, the results are in and here are the winners:

Winners: Best Business Email Marketing

Winners: Best Overall Users of Social Media

If Lara Miller's name looks familiar, that's because it should: she's a writer for Inc. Well. So, good on her! And, y'know, you might wanna stay tuned to this site for more posts on social media, which is a topic we touch on frequently.

Anyway, here's more from the release sent out by contest partners Constant Contact:

"More than 130 small businesses in the City of Chicago entered the contest, which took place between January 3 and February 29, 2012. In addition, nearly 400 small business representatives and entrepreneurs took part in the free educational seminars co-sponsored by Constant Contact and the City of Chicago Treasurer’s Office during the contest."
