The total destruction of Michigan Avenue is now complete.
With a 3-day film shoot of Michael Bay's latest CGI-fest, "Transformers 3", now finished, the streets showed nary a trace of the debris-strewn set that was chocka-block with burned out cars, chunks of building, and the occasional fire.
The streets reopened Monday morning at 5 a.m.
Filming for the movie now moves across the river to Upper Wacker, which will be closed between Michigan and Wabash avenues through Thursday.
The closure effects 13 CTA bus routes. For full information go to transitchicago.com.
