DOH! If you've spent your Sunday nights with Bart, Lisa, Homer and Marge over the past couple of decades, chances are you'll do pretty well at Simpson's Trivia Night at Ginger's Ale House. Specials include $5 sliders and fries and $2 Pabst. Mmmmm... beer. 7:30 p.m., 3801 N Ashland Ave, $5 to play.

SHARPEN YOUR KNIVES: Chicago Top Chef fans have two days to check out the Top Chef Tour in Chicago, starting today. Former contestants Mike Isabella and Antonia Lofaso will be at Millennium Park at Chase Promenade North to do a number of cooking demonstrations, including a Quickfire-style cook-off. Guests can also participate in games, prizes, and get pictures and autographs from the chef-lebrities. Guests will be allowed in on a first-come first-served basis for the free event, but you're encouraged to arrive a half hour early. 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m. 1:30 p.m., Randolph St and Michigan Ave. Thursday's demos will be held at Whole Foods (1550 North Kingsbury St)

WINE DOWN: Speaking of cook-offs -- Café Ba-Ba-Reeba’s Executive Chef Tim Cottini will be duking it out tonight against Mon Ami Gabi’s Executive Chef Justin Dumcum in a Spain vs. France Wine Tasting. Both chefs will be serving up their signature dishes and you get to be the lucky judge while sipping 25 varietals of red and white wines. Home court advantage goes to Lincoln Park's Café Ba-Ba-Reeba. 6-8 p.m., 2024 N. Halsted St, $25. RSVP at 773-935-5000
