Chicago Boasts 3 of Top Vegetarian Restaurants in America

Two Chicago restaurants and one Evanston eatery made the cut

Chicago is known for deep dish pizza and Italian beef sandwiches, but vegetarians also have plenty of options in the Windy City, according to a new ranking of restaurants that cater to plant aficionados.

According to a new ranking by OpenTable, the Chicago-area has three of the Top 50 restaurants for vegetarians in the United States.

The ranking, which evaluated over 28,000 different restaurants in all 50 states, narrowed things down to the best of the best, and Chicago is one of America’s most vegetarian-friendly cities.

According to the ranking, two Chicago eateries made the cut, with Beatrix in River North and Ema in Near North both ranking among the top 50.

Another area-eatery also made the list, as the Blind Faith Café in Evanston was honored.
