3 Men Charged in Pair of Robberies on North Side

The three men were each charged with two counts of felony armed robbery

Three men were arrested and charged in connection with a pair of robberies on the city’s North Side Friday.

According to Chicago police, 18-year-old Alvin Thomas, 19-year-old Herbert Sanderfer, and 22-year-old Dijon Williams robbed two separate victims Friday, demanding property and money during the thefts.

The incidents occurred just after 3 a.m. in the 900 block of West Belmont and the 3200 block of North Halsted in the city’s Lake View neighborhood, according to authorities.

Officers were called to the scenes of the thefts and apprehended the three suspects.

All three men were charged with two counts of felony robbery at Central Bond Court, and Sanderfer was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
