The Second City continues its tradition as the perfect training ground for Saturday Night Live.
Three actors with ties to the Old Town theatre have joined the cast of SNL for the new season.

Second City alumni Tim Robinson also joins the SNL cast. He performed in two revues on The Second City Mainstage including Spoiler Alert: Everybody Dies and South Side of Heaven.
Cecily Strong, an Oak Park native, cut her chops performing with The Second City Touring Company since 2011 and at iO Theater.
The SNL kicks off its 38th season on Sept. 15 with host Seth MacFarlane and musical guest Frank Ocean.
