Packers Have Been Busy Winning, Overcoming Injuries

The Bears last played the Packers during week two of the NFL season. It's OK if you haven't paid attention to the Packers since then. Who would want to pay attention to that cheese-filled team to the north? Especially since Grizzly Detail will catch you up on everything that's happened since the two teams last played?

The main thing that the Packers have done since week two is win. They dropped four games altogether, including a robbery loss to Seattle that was aided by the replacement referees. The wins have put them atop the NFC North and in position to clinch at Soldier Field if they win on Sunday.

They've also gone through injuries that have limited their best players. Linebacker Clay Matthews, who sacked Jay Cutler 3.5 times in September, missed four games with a bum hamstring but is expected to play on Sunday. Receiver Greg Jennings has been limited and missed most of the season with injury. Defensive back Charles Woodson is out for Sunday, and Jordy Nelson, James Starks and C.J. Wilson missed practice this week. All those injuries, but they didn't stop winning.

The winning can be attributed in large part to Aaron Rodgers having another great season. (The jerk.) His quarterback rating is 103.1. He's thrown 29 touchdowns and just eight picks.

In short, the Packers are still really good, and the Bears have a tough test on Sunday. Same as it ever was.
