A pair of teenage hoodlums weren’t making a political statement when they allegedly threw a bottle through former governor Rod Blagojevich’s window Wednesday.
Police said it’s unclear if the two 16-year-olds even knew the Ravenswood Manor home on the 2900 block of West Sunnyside Avenue belonged to Blago, according to Chicago Breaking News.
The teens were arrested all the same and charged with felony criminal damage to property because the damage exceeds $300. They could do jail time for the incident, but not as much as Blagojevich faces if he’s convicted of conspiracy this summer.
Patti Blagojevich was home when the kids tossed the projectile toward the window. She called the cops, who are familiar with her address.
The bottle incident came the same day that the prosecution’s case against the former governor went public in the form of the Santiago Proffer.
