An 18-year-old from Aurora apparently took her "Twilight" fandom a little too seriously Friday night, and wound up in some serious trouble because of it.
Olivia Ornelas was arrested and charged with a DUI, after she apparently tried to drive a car with one of the front tires missing.
Police arrested Ornelas after the car she'd been driving was found in a ditch at 12:04 a.m. Saturday near Route 71 and East High Point, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to police, Ornelas was driving with no front right tire. She told deputies she was extremely upset with her boyfriend because she did not get to see the new "Twilight" movie as they'd planned, according to a police report.
Ornelas was charged with drunken driving and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
