The popular Taste of Chicago festival is now accepting applications for interested restaurants in the area.
For nearly four decades, Chicago’s Grant Park has been home to the world’s largest free food festival, according to the City of Chicago site. The cultural festival lasts a total of five days and food, dance and culture are featured throughout.
Restaurants can apply for a five-day booth or as a pop-up vendor.
The event will run from July 11-15 and more than 1.5 million guests are expected to attend this summer.
A free workshop for first time food vendors is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Feb. 21 from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Chicago Cultural Center (Washington room, 5th Floor South).
