Target Announces Anniversary Collection With 20 Famed Designers

Fashionistas on a budget, rejoice! Target is coming out with the designer collection of your dreams.

To celebrate 20 years of partnerships with big-name designers, Target is opening up its archives to bring back hundreds of items from 20 collaborations with some the most famous faces in fashion, accessories, home decor, kitchen essentials and more.

Target's first fashion partnership was with architect Michael Graves in 1999. Now, two decades later, Graves' items will be back on shelves, along with limited-edition items from designers like Anna Sui, Proenza Schouler, Missoni, Isaac Mizrahi, Jason Wu, Zac Posen, Lilly Pulitzer, 3.1 Phillip Lim and more.

"Target has forever changed the retail landscape by doing what once was considered impossible—offering great design at an incredible price," Mark Tritton, Target's executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, said in a statement.

"This anniversary celebrates our rich design history and the diverse range of partnerships we’ve offered our guests for the last 20 years. Each partnership brought something special and exciting to our guests, and with 20 years behind us, we’re only getting started."

Prices on the nearly 300 items from 20 designers will range from $7 to $160, the retail giant said, and everything will be available in stores and online beginning Sept. 14.

Target said the collections and items will vary by store and there is a limit to how much you can buy: up to five items per size and color.
