A Chicago Police Department SWAT team was called to the former John Hancock Center late Friday following a report of a gunshot, police stated.
Officers first responded to the building, 875 North Michigan Avenue, at 9:29 p.m. Witnesses reported hearing a gunshot, and a bullet fragment was found inside an apartment unit, officials stated.
No injuries were reported late Friday.
