A man was critically wounded after being shot by police during a Tuesday night incident that left three Chicago Police officers injured on the West Side. The police-involved shooting happened in the 2300 block of West Madison Street at 8:42 p.m., according to police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli. A man suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition, Fire Media Affairs Director Larry Langford said.
