Chances are you know an individual affected by breast cancer, 1 in 8 women are diagnosed with the serious and sometimes debilitating condition. Susan G. Komen Chicago has earned the reputation for being the local source for funding breast cancer detection, and raising support and educational awareness in the Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, and McHenry Counties. Komen Chicago has marched for the women of Chicago since 1997, saving the lives of thousands of women locally in the Chicagoland area and supporting the larger vision of creating a world without breast cancer through global research.
