The Rev. Andrew Greeley, the best-selling novelist and Chicago Sun-Times columnist, remains in critical condition Sunday at Lutheran General Hospital after fracturing his skull in a freak fall in Rosemont Friday, according to his publicist, June Rosner.
The noted Chicago Catholic priest had just given a lecture at a conference in Rosemont. The Sun-Times reports that Greeley, 80, was getting out of a taxi, caught his jacket in the door and fell and hit is head.
