Kayla, a dark brindle boxer from Wilmette, will not return home a champion from the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
But, the Chicago Sun-Times reports that her owner says she's proud of her all the same.
"I feel great," breeder Jennifer Crane said Tuesday. "She showed beautifully, and that's all I was hoping for."
It's not likely that Kayla will be back at Westminster. Her owner says she'd like to breed her now.
