The man's LinkedIn page lists that he has worked as a math tutor in CPS

A substitute teacher was arrested Thursday evening at his South Side home and charged with having an “inappropriate relationship” with a female student, police said.

Aaron Williams-Banks, 28, faces one felony count of indecent solicitation of a child with the intention of predatory aggravated sexual assault, according to a statement from Chicago Police.

Police were made aware of his “inappropriate relationship” with the girl and, after investigating the allegations, Williams-Banks was arrested about 6:35 p.m. Thursday at his home in the 7400 block of South Euclid, police said.

Williams-Banks lists on his LinkedIn that he has worked as a math tutor in the Chicago Public Schools district since March 2014. A representative from CPS could not be immediately reached for comment Saturday evening.

He was scheduled to appear in bond court Saturday.
