A suburban student is taking her teacher to court, alleging that the teacher instructed
other students to slap her.
The middle school student is suing the Bolingbrook school distraict, claiming that her
teacher, unimpressed by a question asked, encouraged classmates -- more than once -- to slap the student.
The lawsuit indicates that the incident happened on April 16, but does not say whether the students complied with the teacher's suggestion or not.
The suit claims that after the girl asked a question in her English as a Second Language class,
the teacher was she was inattentive.
The student and the lawsuit demand the teacher be fired, claiming the school district knew of the teacher's habit of treating his students with a lack of dignity and respect.
