Starbucks is offering an early Christmas present this afternoon in Chicago.
The gift? $20 gift cards.
To get one, head to the Christmas tree at Millennium Park and look for the Starbucks "Give Good" squad in red and green aprons.
The giveaway starts at 2 p.m., but a line likely will form earlier.
Starbucks plans to pass out 1,000 gift cards as part of "Project Give Good," an effort launched around the country.
“The inspiration behind Project Give Good is simple, we want to brighten the holidays and delight our customers,” said Kris Engskov, executive vice president of U.S. Retail for Starbucks, in a statement. “We hope the gift of a Starbucks Card will give customers the opportunity to take a break or catch up with a loved one over coffee.”
Starbucks plans to give away 50,000 $20 Starbucks cards at community celebrations across the country.
