If He Wins, Who Will Obama Choose?

Some speculate Emmanuel will serve as Obama's chief of staff

A reporter for the Chicago Sun-Times is likely not alone in voicing speculation that Chicago's Rahm Emmanuel will have a spot in the Obama White House, should Obama make it that far.

When asked on the ABC Sunday morning political affairs program "This Week With George Stephanopoulos," the Illinois State Representative was asked if he would consider taking the position of Chief of Staff in an Obama administration.

He responded with a non-answer, saying, "Three -- six years ago, the people on the North Side of Chicago took a bet on a young kid."

The Sun-Times' Lynn Sweet has a few other possibilities on her list.

In other Obama news, Mary Ann Ahern reported that there's no short of politicians waiting in the wings should Obama win the presidency and vacate his Illinois Senate seat.
