The Chicago-area may be nearly a month into spring, but wintry weather ruled the day Sunday as snow fell throughout the region.
Some areas saw up to eight inches of snow as part of a blast of icy air on Sunday, with temperatures struggling to get out of the mid-30s throughout most of the region.
