For the second time this week, snow impacted traffic in the Chicago area on Saturday morning as below-average temperatures continue to grip the area.
While Thursday’s snow was mainly concentrated south of Interstate 80 and into northwest Indiana, Saturday’s snow was a bigger issue in the northern part of the NBC 5 viewing area, with at least an inch of snow falling in several locations.

Despite the snowy weather, things are expected to dry out in coming days, and temperatures will slowly begin to climb back into the 40’s early next week.
