Six Flags Great America is looking to hire thousands of people to fill roles at the iconic theme park this year, officials announced Monday.
As the Gurnee attraction prepares for the start of its 2019 season, it plans to host at least three major hiring events in hopes of bringing on up to 3,000 new team members.
The events will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 16, March 2 and March 23 at the employee entrance off Milwaukee Avenue.
The park, located at 542 N. Route 21 in Gurnee, is looking to hire for paid internships and entry-level jobs up to leadership positions. Seasonal positions start at a minimum of $9 an hour. Perks also include free park admission and private employee events.
Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online here, but walk-ins are also welcome.
