Power Loss Shuts Down Blue Line Trains From Rosemont to O'Hare

Blue Line rains are operating only between Forest Park and Rosemont until further notice, a statement from the CTA said

CTA Blue Line service was temporarily suspended between O’Hare and Rosemont because of a power outage Thursday afternoon.

CTA officials said service had resumed by 2 p.m., but the cause of the power loss was not immediately clear.

Trains were operating only between Forest Park and Rosemont and shuttle bus service was being implemented between O'Hare and Rosemont.

The agency said it was “working to restore service as quickly as possible,” but riders should allow extra travel time.
